What is Powder Coating?

Powder coating is a "green" coating process  that is electrostatically applied in a dry powder form to various substrates. After application, the parts are put in an oven at an average of 400 degrees farenheit to be "cured". This process results in an extremely durable coating with superior UV and corrision protection. Used as functional(protective) and decorative finishes, powder coatings are available in an almost limitless range of colors and textures.

Who We Are

Custom Colors is a complete job shop providing state of the art powder coating solutions. We can work with customers on individual projects or commercial programs. We offer sand blasting, 3 & 5 stage chemical pretreatment supported by 2 high capacity ovens(the largest of which is over 42 feet long.) We offer a large in-stock inventory of powders that include metallics and textured finishes. Architectural and marine grade finishes are our specialty, and expert color matching is available. With over 20 years of powder coating experiance, we have the knowledge and skill to professionally handle any powder coating requirement. Our reputation is based on delivering the highest quality finish.
